These melting moments are also known as butter cookies that is paired with a filling in between , weather its Nutella or biscoff fillings , melting moments will never disappoints. These buttery soft delicate cookies are best to enjoy for tea or even to serve during the festive holidays with friends and families.
With only basic ingredients such as butter , flour , sugar and egg whites These cookies are so quick and easy to make, and only requires ingredients you probably already have at home. Trust me, you won’t be able to stop at just one cookie!
Ingredients
Grp A
200gm. Cold Unsalted Butter
75gm. Icing sugar (sifted)
Grp B
30gm. Egg White
2 gm vanilla Essence
Grp C
225 gm. Cake Flour
Grp D
Nutella Spread
Lotus Caramelized Spread
Methods to make the best Melting Moments
1) Preheat the oven at 160’c-170’c for 10-15mins
2) Cream the butter and icing sugar till light and fluffy
3) Add in the egg whites and vanilla essence in small batches and mix well
4) Slowly add the sieved flour into the butter mixture and mix well
5) Put the cookie dough into the piping bag with a star nozzle
6) Pipe the mixture onto the baking tray,lined with parchment paper
7) Ensure to piped the cookie with enough spaces apart as the cookies will spread in the oven
8) Bake @ 160-170’c for 12-15 mins or till golden brown
9) Allow the cookies to cool before pairing the cookies
10) Ensure the cookies are cooled to room temperature
11) Pair the cookies, and pipe the filling in between (Nutella / Lotus Biscoff filling)
12) Sandwich the cookies and allow it to set before serving
Storage / shelf life
· Ensure the cookies are cooled before keeping them into air- tight container to keep the cookies fresh
· Best to consume the cookies 1 day after its set
· These cookies are consumable for 1 month in the air tight container
Pro -tips
· For best results, I highly recommend using the gram measurements (with a digital scale), rather than the cup measurements when measuring for ingredients
